I am getting better

Hello everyone

It has been a long time, and it will take more time with my therapists to get back to my old self.

Physically, I am OK, but I am suffering from PTA (Post Traumatic Amnesia), after a bump on my head.

I am finding it difficult to remember things from the past, particularly the friends’ names, and how to negotiate through my own Blogger.

It is VERY frustrating and time consuming.

I am staying at an unit run by the hospital, for the medical staff to determine whether I will be OK to go back at my own home.

Thank you for your concern and please keep in touch.

Regards

Michiko

Dearest Michiko
I'm hoping that our messages cheer you along the road to complete recovery.
It will be a time thing I guess - because your terrible accident was such a shock to your body, however the human body is a magificent machine.

I so wish I lived closer and could come and visit you, maybe we could read a book together to pass some time for you!

Take care, there's lots of hugs, love, and prayers in blogland winging their way to you each and every day dear Michiko.

Sorry dear Michiko,
that last comment from (Mina loves art) was from me.
It was a google name I had before I started blogging - if I leave my Gmail account open, it reverts back to that.....

Dearest Michiko,

Hope you are doing just a little bit better each day.
You know the knews for me? We welcomed 10 Japanese people to our town on Sunday afternoon. Three chaperons with 7 students, 16 and 17 years old. The only boy stays with our dear friends for 4 nights and we did spent last night together with Kiichiro. Tomorrow we will have the Sayonara party already... Time is going too fast.
Love and hugs to you!
Mariette

Michiko ... no one ever knows "exactly" what another is going through - even when circumstances may be similar. Having gone through similar loss of self ... one thing I will share is that, frustration will beg you to rush through and get home quickly... TRUST ME when I say... let healing take its course and time. This is something that I wish I had not rushed (looking back through the stages of my recovery).

Prayers and blessings ...xo HHL

Michiko, thank you for visiting me and Kassey. It is so good to know you're improving. I worried when I didn't see you online for so long. I lost my internet in February, but glad to be back. I hope and pray that you'll be totally well soon.
