Why some people get fatter and some people do not, In the old days, people were not concerned about being over weigh, just themselves.
But these days, people eat fast food and do not exercise enough.
Today, many people are suffering form heart disease.
People who play sports are more likely to happiest life.

This post is so true Michiko. Too much fast food I think. Parents are not fixing healthy food for their children to eat.

Thanks for your visit and comment. You are so right about this modern age problem of obesity. It starts already with the children. The consumption of sugar is also way too high, all the drinks contain but sugar. Healthier to drink water; plain water. Cheaper too and you might live longer.

Oh, yes we certainly have to be careful not to take suger to much. Like Mariette said, we tend to or easily taking too much compared to decades ago.

Hi Michiko san. I agree that people eat more fast food and don't do enough exercise...maybe for some people, it's because they don't have time. The company I worked before kept me working very long hours and I did not have energy to cook or exercise. I am glad I changed my job as I have more time now.
