Its a famililiarity that takes years to generate. Lots of hanging out with bands of like-minded young souls with nowhere to be, conversations bleeding into the next day,
The unconscious audition process of our teens and 20s, as we decided who we dug ( and didn't) amassing a posse of loyal mates to stand by us into the future.

Dearest Michiko,
Guess we all do have such long-term friends that know us since we were teens, when we were still a budding rose... Life has unfolded and the fond memories remain and if you still have a friend with whom you can relive them; that's a BLESSING!
Hugs,
Mariette
I have a friend from college. She is the only friend from school days who I still keep in touch and I treasure her friendship :-)
I love my old friends too. New ones are nice, but old ones are precious.
To have old friends to relive past moments with always makes one feel even closer to them. Old friends know all the changes you have made to be who you are now. New friends only know who you are now and not your history. History bonds on to another. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Hugs Carrie
Dearest Michiko-san,
Oh, I have some old friends whom I can talk kind of freely like good old days.

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
