The heart of stone

The secret of Stoneleigh

Stoneleigh takes its name from the ancient river stones scattered at the foot of its vines. The stones act like a natural heat conductor and during the day they are warmed by the sun and at night they release their heat into the vines, helping to ripen the grapes and intensify their flavour. This natural phenomenon, coupled with free-draining stony soils creates the wines that are served in many place around the world.

Update on my teeth

This time last year the saga started with my teeth. Almost a year later and after several checkups, my teeth finally look as though the final implants maybe fitted next month on the 15th of August. Hopefully it all goes ahead and i can finally enjoy going out and eating food with all my teeth in and none missing!!!!!!

Dearest Michiko,
Interesting post and especially I liked to read that August 15th your final implants will get done. What a difference this will make after one entire year.
Wishing you good luck.
Love,
Mariette

Sis!! I am SO glad the implants will be finished at last! And I enjoyed learning about Stoneleigh. There is a favorite wine of mine that is imported from Australia. I believe it is called Black Opal.

You have done your homework about where I live because you knew about the regattas and all the Colleges/Universities in the U.S. send their rowers here for competition. Let us go to a good place along the river, being a bottle of Black Opal and enjoy! The in the evening, I will grill us a chicken!
