The Hunger game

The diet industry is worth millions of money but few programs address the biggest issue when it comes to  weight control. The ability to say no. The ability to regulate in take is critical.
If we could all simply eat when we were hungry and stop when we were full. few of us would be over weight. stop when we were full few of us would be over weight.

Some people are naturally good at it, We all knw them they 're the sensible ones who know when It's time to stop drinking and can call it a day after a single slice of chocolate cake.
For some this skill is innate, while other learnt good self-regulation in their childhood from parents who instilled strict limits and boundaries.

You are right about that, Sis. I am about to go on a diet AGAIN. I feel better so I am eating more and not always what is good for me. Katie could stand to lose a pound! as well.

Dearest Michiko,
Yes you are so right about that!
But it's all about money making so they are selling promises that often will not work for the very same reason: Lack on discipline!
Yes, I'm grateful that we got brought up in a time where there was no snacking on anything, but an apple a day or some other fresh seasonal fruit. That is far better for the body and for our health.
Now the sugar industry is one of the biggest in the world and they love to sell and sell more.
People are addicted to all the sweet stuff...
Sending you hugs and wishing you well.

Hello Michiko!
I really hope you feel good.
Here in Sweden we have a lot of snow and I wish the spring will come soon.

You are right...self-control is the key! I try not to over-eat or starve myself - I don't try too hard because it just gives me stress.

Have a great day, Michiko san!
